Amazing food same day delivery fresh caught fish. Tasty and always a treat to sit at the sushi bar and watch it being made. Had a spil accident and the staff and Susi Chef's were all attentive yet subtle in their reactions to my mess. Very peaceful enjoyable quick, caring service. Great atmosphere. A little Stark and white w/ an overall organized feel. But peaceful overall. very proficient atmosphere I guess is the best way to describe it. From my experience very Authentic Japanese. Also inside dining with a small quaint sushi bar, and patio dining area as well. Also The Sushi Chef's try not to cringe when us Americans drown their exquisite food creations in large amounts of wasabi and soy sauce, and an abundance of ginger. Hahaha!!! Highly recommended

Had an amazing experience at this place. My friends, brother and myself are traveling through town and we were looking for a place to eat and came across Kabosu. Mint and the whole staff were extremely friendly and took care of all of us. Food was very delicious. From the soup, salads, appetizers and rolls that Mint recommend. Next time we travel through, we will be back.

Delicious food, and the restaurant is always packed. You’ll have a better chance to get seats at the bar. Great sushi, hot pots are incredible, but rolls are on the mediocre side. Service is a bit slow but we didn’t wait too long. Will definitely come back.

Kabosu has been a favorite spot for years.... Kabosu is my go to sushi spot.... Quality for its price point >>> The flavor is impeccable... My go to order consist of Spicy Truffle Edamame, Albacore Sashimi, Yellowtail Carpaccio, Lemon Roll, and the Yuzu roll. It doesn't matter if I am alone or with friends, I order the same regardless. The staff are kind, warm, and welcoming! Their service is always incredible! It is always a joy to dine at Kabosu <3

Fresh, flavorful Japanese food that goes beyond sushi and sashimi. The chefs are excellent, the fish is always fresh and the servers are overwhelmed and polite. Highly recommended getting several small plates of different things to experience a variety of flavors and foods and to venture beyond rolls and sushi. The set dinners are a good value but not as good as getting little bites, especially if you're not by yourself and can share. My favorites are any of the steamed fish with mushroom in miso broth, the uni and the chefs sampler. They fill up extremely quickly but you can generally find a spot at the bar. Reservations are highly recommended. Parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED AND DIFFICULT. If possible use public transport or cabs. If you liked my review please give me a thumbs up to let me know! We live close by and always wanted to see what the hype was. This place is always packed, so glad we finally came out to try it. Great staff and service as well. We will definitely be coming back. Try the Hama-Chili if you like Yellowtail, it was our favorite. The one in the photos are the Asian Roll and the sear scallop with sea urchin sushi. Both delicious.

I took my buyer client out for Sushi here and we had a great time! I am usual at this place, which clearly indicates that I like the food. Sushi is great, no doubt about it. The quality is good, portions are decent, price is fair, and all the good that you can think of. Food is fantastic here! Fresh fish and lots of authentic options, not your typical Americanized drenched in mayo and filled with imitation crab sushi rolls! I would recommend this restaurant!

It’s busy, and you should bring a sweater if you’re up for sitting outside. They have heaters amply throughout the seating area but the cool California nights can still be chilly. The food is delicious always. It’s consistently amazing. My top sushi roll recommendations: Lemon roll, Lome roll, and Yuzu roll. Honestly though there’s not a bad sushi roll on this menu. The food is delicious. It’s a sister restaurant of Sushi Yuzu and it’s open Monday nights. Bring your friends and taste this gem of a restaurant.
